Winlevi® Cream for Acne

Winlevi® contains clascoterone, a topical anti-acne medicine used to treat acne vulgaris in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.

Winlevi works locally in the skin by blocking androgen receptors, helping to reduce hormonal factors associated with acne and excess oil production. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry affected areas twice daily, as directed by your healthcare professional, and wash your hands after application.

Possible side effects

Like all medicines, Winlevi can cause side effects. Skin redness, scaling and dryness are very common. If you experience severe or persistent side effects, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

12-week review

We recommend contacting the RapidMeds team or your doctor at around 12 weeks to review your treatment and assess whether it should be continued, stopped or restarted.
