Description
Treclin contains clindamycin phosphate and tretinoin as active ingredients. It is primarily used in the treatment of acne vulgaris in patients aged 12 and up.
Clindamycin phosphate is an antibiotic that works by preventing acne-causing bacteria from growing. Tretinoin is a type of vitamin A that helps to prevent acne by unclogging pores and encouraging the shedding of dead skin cells.
Treclin is applied topically to the affected areas of skin once daily, usually before going to bed. Individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to clindamycin, tretinoin, or any other component of the medication should not use it unless directed by a healthcare provider.
