Description
Warticon is a topical medication used to treat external genital warts caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). The active ingredient in Warticon is podophyllotoxin, which works by preventing the growth and spread of the wart cells.
Warticon comes in the form of a cream or solution and is applied directly to the affected area. The medication is usually applied twice daily for three consecutive days, followed by a four-day break. This cycle is then repeated as necessary for up to four weeks.
It is critical to note that Warticon should only be used on external genital warts and not on warts in other parts of the body, such as the vagina or rectum. It is also not recommended for pregnant women, people with compromised immune systems, or children.
