Loceryl nail lacquer is a treatment for fungal nail infections.
Loceryl nail lacquer is a treatment for fungal nail infections. Loceryl's active component is amorolfine, which acts by inhibiting fungal development on the nail. It is available as a nail lacquer that is applied once or twice a week to the problematic nail(s) for several months.
To apply Loceryl nail lacquer, clean and dry the afflicted nail first (s). Next, using the applicator brush provided, apply a thin layer of lacquer to the whole surface of the nail. Wait several minutes for the lacquer to dry before putting on socks or shoes. Even if the infection appears to be improving, it is critical to continue taking the medicine as advised.
Some common side effects of Loceryl nail lacquer include nail changes (such as discoloration, thickening, or cracking), itching, and skin irritation around the nail. If you experience severe or persistent side effects, or if your symptoms do not improve after several weeks of treatment, you should contact your GP.
